Investor Relations Associate – Vireo Health Inc. – Minneapolis, MN

Job Description: The Investor Relations Associate will play an important role in organizing and executing investor relations activities to assist in effectively communicating Vireo s business results and strategy to both existing and prospective investors. This position reports to the Vice President of Investor Relations.

Company Overview: Vireo s mission is to build the cannabis company of the future by bringing the best of medicine, engineering and science to the cannabis industry. Vireo cultivates cannabis in environmentally friendly greenhouses, manufactures pharmaceutical-grade cannabis extracts, and sells its products at both company-owned and third-party dispensaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Investor Relations team to continue building a comprehensive Investor Relations program
  • Assist in the preparation and development of investor-facing communications, including quarterly earnings releases/calls, fact sheets, investor presentations, and Q&A talking points
  • Maintaining a database of interactions with the analyst and investment community and report on key developments within the shareholder base to senior management
  • Continually assess the relative positioning of the Company in the marketplace and track market and comparable company trends. Provide strategic insights and market intelligence gathered to assist senior leadership in understanding relative performance and positioning
  • Monitor, analyze, and summarize analyst models and notes to understand investment community expectations and intricacies of each model including drivers and key assumptions, and identify variances versus Company expectations
  • Manage the investor relations website and email/voice mailboxes; collaborate with Corporate Communications on external media inquiries and responses
  • Help plan and execute investor events, including roadshows, conferences, investor days, meetings, phone calls and webcasts
  • Complete ad-hoc projects and reports as needed

Job Qualifications

  • A Bachelor s degree (in business management, finance or accounting preferred)
  • 3+ years of financial-related work experience; preferably with knowledge of capital markets and/or investor relations
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel for models and analyses and PowerPoint for presentations to investors
  • Proactive, self-starter mentality with good project management skills and the drive to lead projects to successful outcomes
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to manage numerous simultaneous priorities
  • Independent decision-making capability and solid business judgment
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, as well as independently
  • Able to handle confidential information with the highest degree of professional responsibility
