The Savage Police Department responded to the following incidents Sept. 25-Oct. 2. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.
Sept. 26: Officers responded to a report of an assault outside a business in the 4200 block of Highway 13. Upon arrival, the suspect, a 26-year-old LeSueur man, had fled into Burnsville and was later apprehended. It was determined the man had also assaulted a man in Burnsville and was taken into custody by Burnsville police.
Sept. 27: A 36-year-old Savage man was arrested for fifth-degree domestic assault in the 14500 block of Lockslie Way.
Sept. 29: A 25-year-old Willow River man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana near 125th Street and Ottawa Avenue after officers made contact with him inside his suspiciously parked vehicle.
Sept. 30: Charges are pending against a 22-year-old Cambridge woman for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine in the 4200 block of 137th Street after officers received a complaint of suspicious activity and located the female in a vehicle.
Sept. 30: An 18-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana after officers stopped his vehicle for multiple violations near McColl Drive and Vernon Avenue and found marijuana, which belonged to the man.
Oct. 1: A 22-year-old Victoria man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and for speeding near Highway 13 and Zinran Avenue.
Oct. 2: Police arrested a 34-year-old Minneapolis man in the 14000 block of Quentin Avenue for fleeing an officer, possession of hypodermic syringes and needles and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers made contact with the man on a
