What you will do

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Network Engineer to join our growing dynamic team! The Senior Network Engineer will provide technology expertise and support for our Network environment including planning, design, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting reporting and upgrading hardware or services. The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service by resolving customer support issues within SLA guidelines and with professionalism. It is imperative that this position always operates with the highest integrity and safeguards confidential information learned while performing assigned duties. This position reports directly to the VP of IT.

Highlighted Responsibilities

  • Contribute in the analysis, design, testing, documentation, standardization, implementation/configuration and support of data networking components
  • Provide 2nd /3rd level support
  • Optimize services to achieve enhancements in performance, capacity and availability while simultaneously achieving cost optimization
  • Build trust through collaboration with diverse teams on numerous projects
  • Support the growth of the business by enabling business strategies and continuous improvement of security practices
  • Maintain data, voice, network hardware and systems, including configuration and updates
  • Leads or participates in projects and meets established budgets and timelines
  • Lead the analysis, design, testing, documentation, standardization, implementation/configuration and support of key Network components for cloud services
  • Proficient with implementation of cloud server Network environments utilizing industry standards and best practices
  • Participates in large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Participate in required security testing and official audit functions and be responsible for development of plans to remediate
  • Keep skills current, eager to learn and stay close to technology trends within assigned portfolio.
  • Required to strictly follow established ITIL repeatable processes – Incident Management, Change Management, Event Management, Problem Management (including Root Cause Analysis)
  • Participates in large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Proficient understanding to manage/configure; switches, routers, firewalls, access points and end user devices
  • Proficient knowledge to setup/configure; VPN tunnel, VLAN, LAN, WAN


  • 4+ years experience in Server Network with at least 2+ years as Administrator or equal
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required
  • Can receive and assimilate feedback in a professional manner
  • Experience with server monitoring and performance management tools (Memory/CPU/disk space)
  • Translates complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Excels at managing multiple priorities within established timeframes and quality deliverables
  • Experience with security solutions and tools; Drive encryption, virus scan
  • Experience with backups, Microsoft tools and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of server monitoring and performance management tools(Memory/CPU/disk space)
  • Proficient knowledge of Active Directory/O365 and clear understanding of best practices
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
